Lil Sluggers
Calling all 2-5 year olds, Lil Sluggers is back for another session! Players will learn simple base running and recognition, hitting and how to hold the bat properly, throwing in an overhand motion, fielding using two hands, and more! This is a great introduction to the sport of baseball as well as increasing social skills, fitness and agility, and improving eye/hand coordination.
The following items will be covered in this camp:
- Simple base running & base recognition.
- Hitting: holding the bat properly.
- Throwing in an overhand motion
- Fielding, with using 2 hands
- Fitness and agility
- Improved eye/hand coordination
- Understanding game like situations
- Increased social skills
