Description:

The Stewartville Public Schools preschool program provides a developmentally appropriate education focusing on play, academics, social emotional learning, and making the start of each child's educational journey memorable. Preschool days are filled with dramatic play, music and movement activities, and intentional instruction to build on social emotional development, language and vocabulary skills, and beginning reading, writing and mathematics. Classes are taught by Minnesota licensed Early Childhood teachers. Our program is 4 Star Parent Aware rated program and incorporates the state approved curriculum and assessment. This preschool class is for children who are 3 years old by September 1st, 2025.

School Readiness T/TH class is $130.00 per month.

The first day of class will be September 8.
The last day of class will be May 20.

A non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 is due upon registration to hold your child’s space until classes begin.

Bussing Transportation is available through Grisim Bus Company at the parents expense. Call 507-533-8775 to set up and for more information.

Tiger Tots Wrap Around Childcare If your child is Kindergarten age eligible for the fall of 2026 and you're interested in Tiger Tot Wrap Around Care, please contact our Tiger Time program at tigertime@ssdtigers.org.

In Minnesota, an Early Childhood Screening MUST be completed prior to entrance into Kindergarten, please complete this form to request an appointment if your child has not been screened.
